This competition will be in pitch format. Submissions will be in the format provided in the “entry format” section. 

The topic is Moorish Spain. You can take many historical angles but the main objective is to keep the story in Moorish Spain!

Examples:

• Vikings from History
• Romance of the Three Kingdoms
• Spartacus

The possibilities are endless and you don’t have to pick a specific historical moment. Just tell me a compelling story about one character or family in Moorish Spain.

Must be a patron member to enter competition. Must not give any documents outside of the requested ones. This would show that you follow proper instructions.

IMPORTANT: All applicants must post our promotional image “patron” on their social media channels with @blacksandsentertainment tagged. Anyone who doesn’t, will not be considered.

Top Three Entries will receive publishing offers they can choose to take.
